The MAC-N-EST.....

Mac-N-Chz...Clarkston Union Style....

1lb.  Pasta of Your Choice
(They use Penne but I like Cavatapi)
Cook Pasta and Set Aside

In a Large Sauce Pot Add
8 oz. Butter
1 Medium Onion Chopped
5 Cloves of Garlic Chopped
Saute Onions & Garlic in Butter

2-4 Cups Flour To Make A Roux

Whisk In
1 Quart Whole Milk
1 Pint Half & Half

Fold Into Sauce
8oz. Parmesan Cheese Shredded Until Melted

Salt & Pepper To Taste

Stir Pasta Into Cheese Sauce Set Aside

Grease 13x9 Casserole Dish
Layer Half of The Pasta/Sauce Mixture Into Dish

8 oz. Pinconning Cheddar Shredded On Top Of Pasta

Layer The Other Half Of The Pasta /Sauce Mixture Into The Dish

8oz. Extra Sharp White Cheddar Shredded On Top of The Pasta
1-2 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs On Top of White Cheddar
Bake @ 350 Oven- 1 Hour
