Farewell Sweet Maui....

Monday evening we said farewell to one of our best buddies..Maui Baba. He will soon be returning home to Japan with his wonderful family. We have spent the past 3 years with them and we are very sad that they must go. We will truly miss that sweet smile that welcomed us everyday.

Winter Break...

Winter break has arrived...today we had delicious homemade chicken noodle soup for breakfast (thanks Dad) and then spent the day with our cousins playing hide and seek and gobbling up warm chocolate chip cookies, what more could you ask for on a cold and blustery day.

Follow The Path...

Just in case you don't already know....I have decided to close down my lovely studio and work from home. It has been an incredibly wonderful experience. I have had the pleasure of connecting with so many new friends and it was a privilege to have such a beautiful space to create in this past year. I want to thank everyone for all of the support you have shown me.

With that said...this economy is not kind to small business right now and my family has suffered from my absence, did I mention my that my house is a mess, the laundry has not been caught up for a year, I don't remember how to cook dinner, I think I still have a desk in my office-(it must be in there somewhere) AND....I cannot remember my husband's name.

It was a difficult decision to make. I spent most of December in my pajamas hibernating. The move was a little exhausting but now that it is done I feel as if the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders. After a few weeks of sleeping in and playing hooky with Jake I feel like I am finally coming up for air. I feel a sense of renewal. I am very excited to be home again, it feels right.

I turned 40 in January, in order to make myself a better Mother, Wife, & Friend I have decided to make this year "All About Me. '
Mind- Body- Spirit.
I am standing at the crossroads...trying to find my way.
